Spring

While Northern Maine may be famous for its devotion to winter sports and winter activities, the fun doesn’t stop as the snow starts to melt. As the days get longer, wildlife enthusiasts flock to Northern Maine to watch creatures emerge from their deep winter slumbers and fishermen take to the rivers and lakes to try and catch a prized fish. If wilderness wanderings is not your game, try your hand at paddling through Northern Maine’s maze of rivers — either by canoe, kayak or white water raft.
